🎣Wanted Autographs

Looking for a Rare Autograph? Cast a Line.

Tell collectors exactly which autograph you’re searching for. If someone has it, they can let you know privately.

Rare autographs rarely show up on schedule. The signed photo from a film you love, the ball from one particular season, a letter from a historical figure: the collector who owns it may not be thinking about selling until they learn someone is looking.

That’s what the CollectorFish Wanted board is for. In fishing terms, you cast a line: you post a Wanted request describing the item, and it stays in the water for other collectors to see. When someone has one, they reply with “I Have One”, and their response comes to you privately.

How Wanted posts work

  1. 1

    Describe what you’re looking for

Add a title, a category, the person who signed, details such as the item type or inscription, and a budget or “open to offers”. A reference photo is optional.
  2. 2

    Post it free

You don’t need an account to post. Your email address is private: it’s never shown on the post or sent to other collectors’ browsers.
  3. 3

Collectors respond with “I Have One”

Anyone who has the item can reply with a description, photos and an asking price. Responses aren’t public.
  4. 4

    Hear about it privately

You’re emailed about each response so you can follow up. If you posted while signed in, responses also appear on your post, and you can message responders who have accounts.

Tips for a Wanted post that gets answers

  • Be specific: name the person, the item type and any detail that matters, such as a role, a team or an inscription.
  • Say what authentication or provenance you’d accept.
  • Give a realistic budget, or choose “open to offers”.
  • Add a reference photo if you have one, so collectors know exactly what you mean.

Have something a collector wants?

Open the Wanted post and choose “I Have One”. Describe your item, add photos and an asking price. Your response goes privately to the collector who posted it, and your contact details are never shown publicly.

Prefer to list it for everyone? Sell it in the Fish Market for free.
