How Selling Works

Before you list, read the Marketplace Rules & Prohibited Items.

   Create your free account

   Sign up and set up your angler profile. Your email address is never shown to other members.

   Set up payouts

   Add your bank details through Stripe in Seller payouts. You can list before this is finished, but buyers can pay you only once it’s done.
3. 3

   Create your listing

   Add the title, the celebrity or person, category, a full description, your asking price and at least 2 photographs of the actual item. Choose how it was authenticated or obtained, and confirm that you own it and can sell it.

   Captain’s Review

   The CollectorFish team reviews every listing before it’s published. If something is missing, you’ll get the reason by email and can edit and resubmit.

   Your listing goes live

   Collectors can buy, make offers and watch your listing. You can lower the price at any time without another review; changes to the title, person, description, authentication or photos are reviewed again first.

   A buyer pays

   Buyers pay through secure Stripe checkout. You’re notified by email and in My market, with the ship-by date.
7. 7

   Ship with tracking

   Ship within 7 days of payment and enter the carrier and tracking number in My market. You’ll get a reminder after 5 days. If tracking isn’t entered in time, the order is canceled and the buyer is refunded in full automatically.
8. 8

   Get paid and build your reputation

   Your payout is released to your payout account once shipment is confirmed. The buyer can then leave Verified Catch feedback, and you can rate the buyer too.
