The CollectorFish team reviews every Fish Market listing before it’s published, and again when a seller changes its key details. Review checks the listing, not the item: it is not a guarantee of authenticity.

Sellers must upload at least two photographs of the item they own. Stock photos or photos copied from another seller aren’t allowed.

Sellers state how an autograph was authenticated or obtained, with a certificate number when there is one. This information comes from the seller. Third-party authentication helps you decide, but it doesn’t guarantee authenticity.

Pay only with Buy now or an accepted offer, through secure Stripe checkout. Never pay by wire, gift card or an outside payment link. Off-platform payments aren’t protected.

Sellers must ship with a tracking number within 7 days of payment. You’ll see the tracking number in My market as soon as it’s entered.

If the seller doesn’t confirm shipment with tracking within 7 days, the order is canceled and you’re refunded in full automatically.

Something look wrong? Signed-in members can use Report Listing on any live listing. Reports go privately to the CollectorFish team, who review each one. The seller isn’t told who reported it.

If an item doesn’t arrive, is damaged, or isn’t what was described, use Report a Problem on the order in My market. The team reviews both sides and contacts you by email.

Only the buyer and seller of a completed sale can rate each other, once per sale. That feedback carries the Verified Catch ✓ badge and can’t be added any other way.

Your email address is never shown to other members. Use Message in a Bottle to talk to buyers and sellers.

Sellers with repeated orders refunded for non-shipment are reviewed by the CollectorFish team, and their new listings may be paused until that review is done.

Contact us about anything that doesn’t look right. Never share passwords or card numbers in messages.
