Autograph Marketplace for Collectors

Buy, sell and trade autographs with other collectors, or tell them exactly what you’re hunting for.

CollectorFish is a marketplace and community for autograph collectors. Members list signed photos, cards, balls, albums, documents and other signed memorabilia in the Fish Market, propose trades, and post Wanted requests for the pieces they can’t find. Everything you see is from real collectors; CollectorFish doesn’t hold inventory or sell items itself.

What makes CollectorFish different is the Wanted board. Instead of waiting for the right autograph to be listed, you can post what you’re looking for and let collectors who have it come to you.

Four ways to use the marketplace

What it costs

  • A CollectorFish account is free.
  • Listings and Wanted posts are free.
  • When an item sells, CollectorFish receives 3% of the item price from the seller. Stripe’s card processing fee is separate.
  • Buyers pay the listed price; the 3% fee isn’t added at checkout.
  • CollectorFish Insider ($29.99/year) is optional and adds the convention calendar, signings, Celebrity Index and more.

How buyers and sellers are protected

  • Every listing is reviewed by the CollectorFish team before it’s published. Review checks the listing, not the item.
  • Purchases are paid through secure Stripe checkout on CollectorFish.
  • Sellers ship with tracking within 7 days, or the buyer is refunded in full automatically.
  • Authentication details are stated by the seller. CollectorFish does not currently authenticate items.

Frequently asked questions

Is CollectorFish free to join?

Yes. Creating a CollectorFish account is free, and so are listings and Wanted posts. CollectorFish Insider is an optional paid membership.

How much does it cost to sell?

Listing is free. When an item sells, CollectorFish receives 3% of the item price. Stripe’s card processing fee is separate and comes out of the seller’s share. See How Selling Works.

Can I post an autograph I’m looking for?

Yes. Post a free Wanted request with what you’re hunting for, and collectors who have it can reply privately with “I Have One”. How Wanted posts work.

Does CollectorFish authenticate every autograph?

No. CollectorFish does not currently authenticate items. Listings are reviewed before they’re published, but that review checks the listing, not the item.

What does seller-provided authentication mean?

The seller chooses how the autograph was authenticated or obtained (for example a third-party company and certificate number, or personally obtained). It’s shown as “Authentication stated by seller” and isn’t verified by CollectorFish. Buyers should do their own due diligence; see autograph authentication explained and the Marketplace Rules.

Can’t find the autograph you’re looking for?

Cast a Line: post a free Wanted request and let collectors know what you’re hunting for. If someone has it, they can respond privately.
