ORIGINAL! Stokely Carmichael Flyer - Civil Rights Era History - Black Panthers - Kwame Ture - COINTELPRO

A VERY scarce Piece of Civil Rights Era Black American History. Stokely Carmichael (later known as Kwame Ture) was a Key Leader Figure in the Development of the “Black Power” Movement, leading the SNCC (Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee), honorary Prime Minister of the Black Panther Party, leader of the A-APRP (All-African People’s Revolutionary Party), major player in the Pan-African Movement… FBI Director J Edgar Hoover identified Carmichael as the man Most Likely to succeed Malcolm X as America’s “black Messiah”, after which he was targeted through their “COINTELPRO” Program, leading to his move to Africa (Ghana I believe) in 1968, which is where he assumed the name Kwame Ture gaining even more international influence as a “revolutionary Socialist” and leading figure of the Pan-Africanism Movement. A truly scarce original flyer from a speaking Appearance before he publicly assumed the name Kwame Ture! Simply put, you’ll likely never find another copy. These weren’t mass produced and were never really meant to be saved. It was found in the personal collection of a man Named Dexter Chadwick who was involved in the DC Political Scene at that time.
